Miley Cyrus snuggled up close to her boyfriend Cody Simpson during a beach date at Malibu’s Zuma Beach on Monday.

The 27-year-old pop star was seen stripping out of her casual attire in a sleek one-piece black bathing suit while Cody, 23, spent some time on his phone.

Miley normally likes to showcase her svelte figure, but she stuck with a sleek black one-piece to counter the chilly breeze.

The 5ft5in beauty stripped out of her black ‘DON’T DO WEED’ sweatshirt and ripped acid wash jeans.

Cody was covered up in a gray T-shirt and black jeans.

The Australian musician was about to wade into the waves when he had to take a call.

Despite the breezy and overcast day, the celebrity couple still wanted to relax on the beach.

Both rocked angular black sunglasses, and Cody also brought a long a copy of Bob Dylan’s memoir Chronicles: Volume One for some inspiration.

After the two lovebirds found a prime spot in the sand, Cody had to leave Miley be while he walked down to the shore to talk on the phone.

Miley sunbathed in her suit, though she didn’t appear to get into the freezing water.

It was too breezy, so she put her hoodie back on and shimmied into her jeans while still laying on the sand.

Afterward, a shirtless Cody paced back to Miley, who seemed to be ignoring him, possibly because he prioritized his call.

The singer and dancer grabbed their camera and crouched down to take a playful photo of Miley while she scrolled through her phone.

She didn’t seem to be interested in the candid shot and flipped her middle finger up at him.

Cody leaned in for a kiss before heading back to the surf.

After going back in the water, Cody did his own covert changing trick with a towel wrapped around his waist as he put his jeans back on.

Though things seemed chilly between the couple earlier in the afternoon, there wasn’t any hint of the distance as they got ready to leave the beach.

Miley leaned in on her tiptoes and leaned in for a tight hug with her boyfriend.

He held her close and rested his head gently on her blonde tresses and she snuggled up against his chest.

Miley and Cody were seen being even more affectionate on Wednesday when they locked lips while looking for their car in a parking garage.

Contrary to what her reputation might suggest, the Party In The USA singer isn’t much of a partier these days, though she did make an exception to celebrate Cody’s 23rd birthday.

‘Happy birthday to my best friend in the entire world @codysimpson,’ she wrote on her Instagram for the occasion. ‘I love you and our pirate life!’

The two have been friends for years, but they only began dating in October after her public split from Liam.

Before getting serious with her current beau, Miley briefly dated Brody Jenner’s ex Kaitlynn Carter.

She and Liam are still working on finalizing their divorce, but she seems to have all of her attention on Cody at the moment.
