Jane Moore has made some very rare comments on her high-profile divorce from her husband of 20 years Gary Farrow on Tuesday
The Loose Women star, 62, tied the knot with Showbiz agent Gary in 2002 and raised her daughters Ellie and Grace, whom she has from a previous relationship, together and also his older daughter, Lauren from a previous relationship.
Now Jane has opened up to I’m A Celebrity co-star GK Barry on the Loose Women: The Podcast where she revealed she has ‘never been dumped’ and she gets over heartbreaks in just ‘two days’.
On coping with heartbreak, Jane said: ‘I think about stuff inside my head a lot before I articulate it.
‘So, I have never been dumped. Now, there’s a reason that I’ve never been dumped because I anticipate the writing on the wall. I know what’s coming and so I get in first.
‘So for me, heartbreak, I’ve had a couple of nights where I’ve been really upset… But then after that, I just have this ability to put things on the back burner and to just go, “Okay, that wasn’t to be”.

She added: ‘This is in romantic relationships… I would just be like, ‘Well okay, I really liked them’ [but] I got in early because I could sense they were drifting away. I’m really upset about it, ‘boo hoo hoo’, and then about two days later, I’ll be fine.’
Following a discussion with GK about knowing how you’ve found ‘the one’, Jane recalled: ‘Years ago I had a great, great, one of the best interviews I’ve ever done with with George Michael and we talked about his sexuality.
‘He said, “Emotionally, I could be with a woman for the rest of my life, emotionally I’m much more attuned to women but unfortunately I’m sexually attracted to men” and I would say the same, I could live with a woman emotionally to the end of my days.
‘I have so many great female friends that I could literally live with, like Hinge and Bracket – you’re too young to know who they were [GK] – sort of like spinster sisters for the rest of my life, but I’m not attracted, I’m not physically attracted to women.’
In December 2022, Jane announced live on Loose Women that she and showbiz agent Gary, whose clients included Elton John, had decided to separate but they remained ‘best friends’ and she had been caring for him after he broke his leg.
Jane said: ‘So, Gary and I are separating but it’s weird that it’s out there because we have been processing it for about a year so we’re both quite private people and we had discussed it last year and it was going to happen last year and then he fell and broke his leg.
‘He fell and broke his leg and obviously then all bets were off so we are still in the same house together and we’re going to do Christmas together, the kids know, our family know.
‘It’s weird… because I have been caring for him in that sense of the word, it’s enabled us to segway to process it first of all and to segway into a really good friendship.’

Jane grew up on a council estate and was raised by a single mother, previously speaking about her upbringing with her Loose Women co-stars.
She had aspired to be a journalist from the age of 11 despite her former school headmaster attempting to deter her from the line of work he described as ‘male dominated.’
Despite the odds, Jane has worked at The Sun newspaper for the past 38 years and was the first female editor of the Bizarre column.
Piers Morgan took over the running of the famous Showbiz column following the end of Jane’s reign in 1994.
Throughout her illustrious career, Jane has reported on a number of high-profile court cases including the murder of James Bulger.
