Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White at press conference
The Las Vegas Raiders new running back is a man who spends a lot of time in the weight room.

Following the free-agent departure of Josh Jacobs, the Las Vegas Raiders made it clear that their running back will be Zamir White.

The Raiders were not an efficient running team last season, even with Josh Jacobs running the ball so the young guy has a lot of work to put it. He certainly looks the part.

This week, Zamir White was speaking with reporters but nobody could take notice of what he was saying because they were just enthralled by the sheer size of him. His arms are huge.

This 2024 regular season features many Raiders who have the chance to step in and make an impact on the roster. One of those players was second-year running back Zamir White, out of the University of Georgia.

Las Vegas Raiders RB Zamir White Set To Have A Huge 2024 Season After Breakout 2023 Campaign

Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White finished the 2023 NFL regular season with 104 carries for 451 yards and scored one touchdown, averaging 4.3 yards per carry, according to ESPN.com. He did this in a backup role on the team so his numbers are only set to get better barring any unfortunate injuries.

His first season in 2022 only produced 17 carries for 70 rushing yards and zero touchdowns.

Last season, when Jacobs missed the final month of the season, White operated as the lead back. He did so under interim head coach Antonio Pierce. That is huge after the team brought him on full-time.

Pierce has familiarity, trust, and confidence in White. All these things spell good things for White and the Raiders.
