After captivating fans with the CinemaCon clip, Ryan Reynolds has the potential to revive the MCU with Deadpool 3.
If one thought Deadpool 3 was going to be epic they were wrong. Because the footage shown at CinemaCon proved it to be beyond that. Ryan Reynolds’s Deadpool is set to be the deadliest goofball audiences have ever witnessed, and, to add to the excitement, Wolverine himself isn’t going to sit idly by while Deadpool steals the spotlight!

Deadpool 3 pairs The Merc With a Mouth with his frenemy Logan/ Wolverine
This is something fans have been eagerly anticipating for years now, and the fact that it’s coming and that too from Marvel Studios, is a lot to process. But one thing is for sure, Deadpool and Wolverine are bound to break the curse the MCU has been experiencing for the last couple of years! And the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
Ryan Reynolds is the MCU Jesus!
After Deadpool and Wolverine, once he hits the screen, Ryan Reynolds can proudly hail him as the MCU’s very own Jesus! The sheer excitement sparked among fans by a tiny CinemaCon snippet, courtesy of Kevin Feige—who, by the way, exclaims how “f–king awesome” this is—goes to show just how epic Deadpool 3 is going to be.
The MCU has weathered a rocky few years, from Eternals to The Marvels, it has been nothing but a snooze fest. So much so that the string of failures compelled fans to ask the question, Can the MCU truly bounce back from this rut? Well, the answer has always been Deadpool and Wolverine.
A still from Deadpool and Wolverine
Deadpool is now officially here to turn the tide, as this movie most certainly promises an MCU renaissance at best and a big summer blockbuster at worst!
From the moment it was announced, the internet has been ablaze, counting down the days until its release in July this year. It’s been quite the journey, and Ryan Reynolds has poured his heart and soul into rescuing the MCU from its slump.

And it’s all crystal clear from that CinemaCon snippet. Packed with meta jokes and fourth wall breaks like never before, the movie delivers everything fans have ever dreamed of and then some. And of course, it wouldn’t be Deadpool without a generous sprinkling of expletives! This is truly going to be epic!
Deadpool and Wolverine CinemaCon Snippet Breakdown!
This nine-minute-long clip had the audience locked in throughout as it caused chaos at the Las Vegas convention on Thursday during CinemaCon. And it was stacked with goodness. Right off the bat, people witnessed Wade Wilson, in the midst of a midlife crisis, as a car salesman.
He navigates through life with his team of old colleagues, including the resurrected Rob Delaney, love interest Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, and Leslie Uggams. He’s then pulled back into the game by Mr. Paradox, an agent of the Time Variance Authority, who believes Deadpool is ready to fulfill his potential. Here’s a list of some highlights,

The TVA then also shows Wade his past, present, and potential future, including a sequence where Thor is seen mourning over what appears to be Deadpool’s lifeless body! This echoes a similar moment that Loki experienced in the first season of his series, where he witnessed his own death within the Infinity Saga timeline. This moment might be a parody of that, or it could serve as a significant hint for Secret Wars.
Deadpool & Wolverine is expected to set Avengers: Secret Wars
Since the two heroes basically confirmed their appearance in a PSA! Strolling down a tunnel, Deadpool begins, “Secret Wars was finally going to introduce…” before he’s abruptly cut off by the shrill ringing of a cell phone. And that is when, Wolverine goes absolutely berserk, transforming into something people have never seen before, asking the fans anything but politely to keep their cellular devices in silent. With expletives flying and all sense of decorum abandoned, he makes the audience realize where the real fun begins!

From jokes like, “S-ck it, Fox, I’m going to Disneyland. Get f–ked,” to turning down Uggams’s character to “build a snowman” with her by saying, “The only thing Feige said was off limits!”, MCU did not hold back at all and neither did Deadpool!
While this snippet was somewhat of an extended version of what people saw in the trailer, it provided fans with much-needed context and served as a perfect way to draw in new audiences while keeping the hype alive. Finally, it can definitely be said that the MCU is in the right hands, and Deadpool is officially bringing the superhero franchise back into the game.
Deadpool & Wolverine is set to drop on July 26.
