The Seattle Seahawks are reportedly discussing a trade that would see superstar wide receiver DK Metcalf leave this offseason.

The Seahawks are coming off a 10-7 season under head coach Mike MacDonald, who completed his first term in charge after replacing Pete Carroll. But they fell just short of a spot in the playoffs, losing out to the Los Angeles Rams.

With a new season up ahead and the team keen on giving themselves the best shot at success, there will be plenty of roster changes, including one folks might not have seen coming.

According to Emerald Spectrum’s Corbin K. Smith, the team has had talks with a fellow NFC franchise, the Green Bay Packers, over a potential trade involving the wide receiver.

Smith reports that the Packers “have had discussions with Seahawks this week and have an offer on the table that includes a high pick and a young receiver on roster to acquire Metcalf.”

He also made it clear that the team isn’t actively shopping the wideout, but GM John Schneider has “at least been willing to listen” to offers from other teams while at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
