The wheels of NFL free agency are spinning and Odell Beckham Jr. is once again at the top of the list as the Baltimore Ravens are releasing him after one season played.

Beckham Jr. signed a one-year contract worth $18 million with the Ravens. However, he and the team reworked the contract’s details to allow for a release before June 1 if they failed to reach an agreement before the start of the new season.

The 2014 NFL Offensive Rookies of the Year managed to record 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns in his only season with the Ravens.

CBS Sports is reporting that the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, and New England Patriots are the best fits for the veteran wide receiver.

Beckham will almost certainly need to market himself publicly, similar to how he did last offseason, as he seeks his next contract and home because his time in Baltimore is coming to a screeching halt.

Veteran wide receiver Marquise Brown is expected to sign a one-year deal worth up to $11 million with the Kansas City Chiefs so they might not have the cash flow to bring Odell in as he is likely looking for one last good deal.

The Patriots still do not have a quarterback in place so Odell might not want to go there as many expect the team to take a QB with the third overall draft pick.

It’s looking like the Lions might be his best bet.
