Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been told to “avoid offending” the Royals.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been cautioned that they “must avoid offending the Royal Family” if they wish to prosper, according to a royal commentator.
Since their dramatic exit as senior royals in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have found themselves at the heart of a very public feud with the House of Windsor.
It was over four years ago when Harry and Meghan declared: “We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent.”
The couple subsequently relocated to the US, setting up their new home in Montecito, California, where they live with their children, Archie and Lilibet. The pair have been vocal about their Royal experiences through various interviews and initiatives.
Prince Harry has been warned not to offend his family.
Their candid conversation with Oprah Winfrey in 2021 sent shockwaves around the world, followed by their revealing six-part docuseries released in 2022.
Harry’s tell-all memoir, ‘Spare’, hit the shelves in 2023, and the Sussexes continue to share insights into their lives via interviews, podcasts, and other ventures, reports the Mirror.
The Sussexes now face a stark warning: to ensure the success and longevity of their endeavours, they must tread carefully to not upset the Royal Family.
Royal expert and commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, speaking exclusively to The Mirror, stated: “If they are to thrive and not just survive they must avoid offending the Royal Family, their attacks have cost both them and the royals popularity and made them appear extremely destructive and also hypocritical over the issue of privacy.”
Harry and Meghan have spoken out about the Royal Family
He further speculated: “Will we see future trips like Nigeria? Will Archie and Lili accompany them? The world’s press was fascinated, but that was because they are members of the royal family.
“However, they have been unpredictable and it will be fascinating to see where they take matters from here.”
This news emerges as Meghan is set to officially launch her brand American Riviera Orchard, while the couple are quietly working on their upcoming Netflix shows.
Harry is developing a show about polo, while Meghan is creating one centred around the pleasures of gardening and cookery.
