Good Morning Britain celebrated its 10-year anniversary with a clip of its ‘top presenters’, however, Piers Morgan, who quit the show in 2021, didn’t even get a mention
Piers Morgan has lashed out at Good Morning Britain after the show failed to include him in a montage of its best presenters.
The ITV daytime show is celebrating its 10-year anniversary and commemorated the milestone with a clip of some of the famous faces who have presented the show over the years. Captioning the post on Instagram in which hosts including Kate Garraway and Susanna Reid can be seen, GMB wrote: “10 years have flown by! Let’s look back at some of our presenters through the years.”
However, after his noticeable omission, Piers, 59, took to X quipping: “Great to see @GMB pay tribute to their top 10 presenters over the past 10 years with this touching Instagram post. Did Meghan Markle tell you not to mention me?”

In a move which hit all the headlines, Piers quit GMB in 2021, concluding his six-year stint on the show, when he left after disparaging remarks about Meghan Markle’s mental health, which received over 40,000 Ofcom complaints.
Stating he didn’t believe the Suits star was the victim of racial abuse at the hands of The Firm, he argued with presenter, Alex Beresford, before storming out of the studio.
However, despite his explosive exit, Piers did mention the ITV show’s 10th anniversary in a tongue-in-cheek post today. The popular breakfast show celebrated a decade on our screens this Monday, with Susanna and Richard Madeley fronting the festivities. To mark the occasion, ITV viewers were treated to a mashup of some big on-set moments, which included a blink-and-you-miss-it moment with Piers.

Taking to X, some viewers were incensed to find the father-of-four wasn’t given more time in the anniversary celebrations, with one writing: “A half second clip of Piers Morgan in your ten year mashup is a disgrace to the 50% of the pairing who put the show on the map.”
However, the TalkTV host seemed to see the funny side as he shared two snaps on his X and Instagram accounts this Monday. The former showed him on his first day on the GMB set and the latter a reminder of his dramatic exit in 2021 when he stormed out of the studio, as he joked that “divorce is never easy.”
“Happy 10th anniversary to Good Morning Britain”, he wrote. “I spent five fun, eventful years there, and loved every minute. Here’s a picture of me on my first (April 13, 2015) and last (March 9, 2021) day… divorce is never easy!”
His post provoked mixed reactions, with one fan insisting they “hadn’t watched” GMB since Piers left. However, another seemed glad to see the back of him as they quipped: “Piers, no-one cares.”
