New Houston Texans star wide receiver Stefon Diggs couldn’t help but take a quiet shot at the Buffalo Bills, less than a week after the blockbuster trade between the two AFC contenders.

Last week, the Bills traded Stefon Diggs and 2024 sixth and 2025 fifth-round picks to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick. Houston then adjusted Diggs’ contract that now makes him a free agent after the 2024 season.

It was pretty evident that Diggs was growing unhappy in Buffalo, dating back to the team’s 2022 AFC Divisional Round loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. It was only a matter of time until Diggs was given a new home, and the Texans were more than happy to step up to the plate.

On Tuesday evening, fans noticed that Diggs “liked” a tweet from a fan who told the four-time Pro Bowler that the Bills have to be “the worst fanbase”:

Stefon Diggs also took a shot at former teammate Josh Allen on X/Twitter last week when he responded to a fan who stated that Diggs isn’t “essential to” the success of Buffalo’s star quarterback:

In his final season with the Bills, the 30-year-old Diggs caught 107 passes for 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns. For his career, Diggs has 810 receptions for 9,995 yards and 67 touchdowns.

Stefon Diggs & Texans Face The Bills In 2024

The 2024 NFL schedule won’t be revealed for several more weeks, but we do know this: Diggs and the Texans will host the Bills at some point in the regular season.

The AFC East and AFC South divisions play each other as part of the NFL’s scheduling rotation. The two clubs won their respective divisions last year, and both fell in the Divisional Round (Houston to Baltimore and Buffalo to Kansas City).

It promises to be quite the revenge game. Will Diggs prove to his team that they were foolish for trading him, or will Allen and company show that they didn’t need the four-time Pro Bowler to flourish on offense? Something has to give, folks.
