Meghan Markle has gone viral after a video resurfaced of her begging royal fans to stop pitting her against the Princess of Wales.

The Duchess of Sussex sat down for a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March 2021 and used it as an opportunity to plea for an end to the hatred of her and Kate. The clip has resurfaced after it was revealed Princess Kate has been diagnosed with cancer.

In the footage, which was shared by a fan on TikTok, Meghan opened up about a time Kate made her cry and said: “I’m not sharing that piece about Kate in any way to be disparaging to her. I think it’s really important for people to understand the truth.

“But also I think, a lot of it, that was fed into by the media. And I would hope that she would have wanted that corrected, and maybe in the same way that the Palace wouldn’t let anybody else negate it, they wouldn’t let her, because she’s a good person.

“And I think so much of what I have seen play out is this idea of polarity, where if you love me, you don’t have to hate her. And if you love her, you don’t need to hate me.”

Alongside the video, the fan wrote: “kate and meghan > the no life trolls who always put them against each other for no reason.” Fans agreed with the comment, with one person writing: “They’re both so classy.”

Another said: “I’m glad it’s no longer Meghan Vs Kate instead it’s Meghan and Kate,” while a third commented: “I agreed with Meghan there’s no hate for Kate or Meghan there both good women, wife, mother and there just like Diana and Kate is the future queen and Meghan is the best woman (NO HATE FOR BOTH OF THEM).”

The clip has gone viral after the Princess of Wales revealed in a video that she has been diagnosed with cancer. In the statement, she said: “It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I’ve had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful. In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful.

“However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment. This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”

Kate said she and William have taken some time to explain everything to their three children and “reassure them that I am going to be ok”. She continued: “As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirits.

“Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both.”
