Meghan Markle is yet to “maintain customer interest” as a key issue with her new brand has been unveiled by an expert.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, is currently gearing up to fully launch her new brand, American Riviera Orchard. The mother-of-two recently sent out 50 homemade jams and preserves to famous faces and influencers as she prepares to dive into her lifestyle brand headfirst.

And now an expert has revealed whether or not they believe the Duchess will continue to use “stealth” tactics to promote her new brand after they previously noted that she has used “a stealth approach to project announcements, knowing she’s constantly under the watchful eye of fans and critiques alike”.

PR expert Ronn Torossian, the Founder and Chairman of 5WPR, exclusively told The Mirror: “I believe she will continue using this approach when introducing her next few product lines—she’s proven a handful of times that the ‘less is more’ approach works for her. What we’ve yet to see from her is how she can maintain consumer interest from a longevity standpoint.”

They previously told us that the method Meghan chose to release the product, sending 50 of her jam preserve to influencers only, “makes sense”. They said: “This method makes sense when you take into consideration who Meghan Markle is as a person, and how she’s approached American Riviera Orchard as a brand.

“Markle has been particular with who she publicly associates herself with, so the caliber of influencers she chose to send product to aligns with the image she continues to try to uphold. And to only send to 50 individuals plays into the greater marketing approach she’s built around American Riviera Orchard—a message of exclusivity and scarcity.

“There continues to be very little information around what exactly will be offered through Markle’s product line, heightening consumer intrigue and interest.”

This comes after Meghan gifted jars of her new American Riviera Orchard preserve to 50 different celebrities and influencers. Meghan is said to have gifted jars of the preserve to the likes of Kris Jenner, Mindy Kaling, Tracee Ellis Ross, Tracy Robbins, and many more.
