Meghan Markle has been praised for her work supporting close pal Kelly McKee Zajfen following the sudden death of her nine-year-old son Georgie from a viral illness

Meghan Markle called on her “earlier memories” and “cuter friendship rituals” to support her pal following the tragic death of her son, according to a body language expert.

The Duchess of Sussex posed for pictures with her former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer as they came together to support Kelly McKee Zajfen and her non-profit organisation Alliance of Moms. The organisation was set up by Kelly after he nine-year-old son Georgie died from a sudden viral illness.

In a post shared on Instagram, Meghan was seen holding hands with the two women as they posed for pictures. Body language expert Judi James said Meghan illustrated a close friendship in the snaps.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Judi said: “With their twinned poses and their fingers meshed in the clasp this is the second recent example of Meghan posing in a way with another woman to illustrate close friendship, the subject of one of her ventures.

“Her head-tilt and smile plus the way she leans into into the hug seems to reflect poses with friends from her own childhood suggesting she’s evoking memories of much earlier and cuter friendship rituals from her youth.”

The pictures were shared by Kelly on social media with the caption: “When we speak about the people in our lives who lift us up when you need it with undeniable force of pure love I think of these two.

“It has allowed me to have purpose, and to see what’s in front of me,” she told People magazine. She also spoke about the pain she felt following her son’s death.

“Waking to the reality that my son is gone. It is hard to articulate this kind of pain. Where you can somehow function, but you are not entirely sure how every movement of your body is doing its job,” she said.
