Meghan Markle has completely cut off her father and her sisters, and has ‘totally written them out of her life’, according to sources.

Since marrying into the royal family in 2018 when she wed Prince Harry, Meghan’s family fall out has never been far from headlines as first her bond with her father Thomas Markle soured and then later her relationship with her estranged siblings Samantha Markle and Thomas Markle Jr came to light.

In recent weeks, Meghan’s half brother Thomas Markle Jr has spoken out against the former Suits actress and also created a campaign of abuse online as he hits her with insults and bizarre conspiracy theories. The 57-year-old American is reportedly ‘playing up’ to viewers in YouTube videos spreading a number of bizarre conspiracy theories about Harry, Meghan and their two children Archie and Lilibet.

Aside from the fall out with her half brother, the bitterness between Meghan and her half sister Samantha Markle also hit rock bottom earlier this year. Samantha had accused the Duchess of defamation, but the case was thrown out of court. Samantha Markle sued Meghan over comments she made to Oprah Winfrey and on her Netflix show, Harry & Meghan. However, a judge in Florida who ruled in favour of Meghan dismissed the case as well as ordering that it can never be brought back to court.

In a 58-page decision, Judge Charlene Honeywell said Samantha had “failed to identify any statements that could support a claim for defamation or defamation-by-implication” as her case was thrown out of court. She added the half-sister’s “third try at amending her complaint, in either the book Finding Freedom, the Netflix series Harry & Meghan, or Defendant and her husband’s hour-long televised CBS Interview” is to be dismissed, with prejudice, meaning she cannot raise the claim again.

Meghan’s disintegrating relationship with her brother and sister has not gone unnoticed. Speaking to GB News, royal commentator Lizzie Cundy insists the siblings are “upset” with Meghan. She said: “Thomas Markle Jr is upset with her. She’s treated their father appalingly, has not been in touch with him at all since his heart attack and strokes.”

It’s not just her sister and brother that Meghan no longer has a relationship with either as she’s also no longer speaking with her father. The relationship between Meghan and her father Thomas Markle soured in the run up to the wedding to Prince Harry in 2018, and has never recovered.

In September last year, Thomas made it clear he wanted to see his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet. He spoke in an interview with Good Morning Britain as he told the TV programme: “I’m heartbroken. I am very upset. This is a cruel thing to do to a grandparent — to deny the right to see a grandchild.”

He added: “In California, I can actually sue to see them but I don’t want to do that. The other thing is I’ve done nothing wrong. There’s nothing that points to say I’m a bad guy. I’m a really loving father and she knows that, and there’s no excuse for treating me this way — no excuse to treat grandparents that way.”
