Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been advised to “do more” to boost their rankings in British polls ahead of their expected visit to the UK next month.
The Duke of Sussex is set to attend a special service on May 8 at St Paul’s Cathedral to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
The first ever Invictus Games, which is aimed at sick and injured servicemen and women, was held in London in 2014 and was co-founded by Harry.
It’s not yet been confirmed if the Duchess of Sussex will return to the UK with her husband but a new poll by YouGov has shown the latest popularity results for the former royal couple.
A royal correspondent has warned that the Sussexes’ “still have some way to go” to increase their popularity in Harry’s home country, the Express reports.

In terms of favourability of the Royal Family, the 39-year-old prince has been favoured by 31 percent of those polled, and Meghan, 42, by only 21 percent.
GB News Royal Correspondent, Cameron Walker, told hosts: “They still have some way to go if they are to increase their popularity with the British public.”
Harry and Meghan’s results are a stark contrast to those of their sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, who is currently undergoing preventative chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis.
According to the poll by GovUK, the Princess of Wales was favoured by 76 percent of the total of 2,004 adults polled for the results.
Ahead of next month’s visit, the duke has been issued an Invictus Games warning as critics believe that the former Suits actress could “steal the spotlight” if she attends the special anniversary event with him, which would make it the first time she has stepped foot in the UK since September 2022.
