Harry and Meghan’s ‘rival foreign tours’ could ‘muddy the waters’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future royal tours face a new threat as they are reportedly upsetting King Charles and the senior members of the royal family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently made it to the headlines because of their successful Nigeria trip.

Soon after their visit to the African country, several reports and royal commentators claimed that the former working royals would make ‘rival royal foreign tours.

Now, a report by GB News claimed that a former royal staffer shared that Harry and Meghan’s Nigeria tour sparked “rivalry” between the royal family and the Sussexes.

An insider told The Daily Beast that, “Overseas visits might look like jollies, but they are actually a matter of foreign policy.”

The source added, “Harry and Meghan have different priorities because they are no longer working royals.”

“But of course, the vast majority of the world is ignorant of such distinctions, and regard Harry and Meghan as every bit as representative of the Royal Family as William and Charles,” an insider shared.

The report claimed that “if these rival foreign tours become a regular thing, it could muddy the waters.”
