As MCU is set to reboot the franchise with Oscar-winning star Mahershala Ali, fans have long sought the reappearance of Snipes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, a recent rumor suggests that there is still room for Snipes’ Blade in the MCU.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is a prime example of that, as the Tom Holland starrer movie created the spectacle bringing back Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield alongside their iconic villains. In its essence, the speculation might just come true as Marvel is reportedly planning big for Avengers: Secret Wars.

Wesley Snipes’ Balde return is fairly possible, but the Blade reboot has not been in a good light. After the confirmation of the movie, the Mahershala Ali-starrer vampire hunter flick has faced several delays. Also, nothing has been revealed about the movie. As of writing the piece, there is no confirmation of who will accompany Ali in the film.

Insider Daniel Richtman revealed about Snipes’ return as Blade in the Multiverse Saga. Snipes’ return to the MCU is quite promising, but his return is not directly associated with Ali’s Blade. Rather, if the speculations come true, he will return in MCU’s huge preparation— Avengers: Secret Wars.

Also, Snipes previously revealed that he is open to reprising his iconic Marvel character. Speaking with ComicBook.com, the actor shared his interest in reliving the character again. “Never say never. Long as I’m healthy and in shape,” Snipes said.

“I can rock with them. Yeah, as far as my predictions on if something like that happened in future, I don’t know. I don’t know. It seems to me if it would’ve happened, it would’ve happened already. But hey, never say never. No, [Marvel Studios has not approached me] as of yet. I’m still working on my acting skills. So when I come up as an actor, maybe they’ll reach out and say, ‘Let’s have a conversation,’ or maybe they don’t feel I’m ensemble player.”

At that point, Marvel Studios did not approach the 61-year-old Demolition Man star. Snipes has been a legendary action star, and his Blade trilogy has remained the spectacle of his glorious career.

Nostalgia works. Spider-Man: No Way Home and then the most recent MCU’s Disney+ series X-Men ’97 has proved the essence of revisiting the vintage in the MCU. Although it is unclear the actual reason behind the delay of Ali’s Blade, fans speculate that Marvel Studios’ faith in Ali is questionable, especially after the nostalgia factor worked in their favor.

Regardless, Snipes’ return could be a huge thing for the MCU, but most likely, it would be a one-time thing. Although much of Ali’s Blade is under wraps, the adventure of the vampire hunter is set to begin in 2025 as the anti-hero is scheduled to appear on the big screen on 7 November 2025.

Mirotic spent five seasons in the NBA, jumping from city to city and playing for three teams.

He expressed displeasure with his role in the NBA and detailed in an interview with Eurohoops when he decided to return to Europe while sitting at the airport.

"I felt that time was passing, and I had not played the best basketball of my life, although it was very good," Mirotic said.

"As soon as I didn't feel that joy and happiness to improve. I said it was time to go back and do something bigger in Europe."

"For me, the most important thing has always been enjoying the game, being happy, an important piece, trying to win the titles and, if I'm not in that environment, I don't care about all the money. I'm going away."

Mirotic was a standout athlete growing up. He joined Real Madrid at 14 in 2005 and spent several seasons there before entering his name into the NBA draft.

The Houston Rockets selected him with the 23rd overall pick in the 2011 draft.

That draft was loaded and featured superstars Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, Kawhi Leonard, and several other NBA All-Stars.

However, Mirotic didn't come to the NBA until 2015 after electing to stay in Spain for a few more seasons — by this time he had been traded to the Chicago Bulls.

He would go on to make the All-NBA rookie in his first season and spent the three with the Bulls, but a nasty fight in practice with a teammate ended his tenure with the team.

In 2017, Mirotic and teammate Bobby Portis got into an altercation, resulting in multiple facial fractures for Mirotic.

He would go on to play for the New Orleans Pelicans and Milwaukee Bucks before heading back home to play.

Mirotic made over $41million during his time in the NBA and continues to play in Europe.

He's expected to sign with Partizan Mozzart Bet of the EuroLeague, where he averaged 15.9 points a game last season.
