NFL star receiver Odell Beckham Jr appears to have his eyes set on joining the Super Bowl champion’s roster next season.

The 31-year-old three-time Pro Bowler and Kim Kardashian’s alleged partner reportedly “wants to join” the Kansas City Chiefs to team up with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

Beckham played last season with the  Baltimore Ravens after signing a one-year worth up to $18 million last offseason.

He finished the 2023 regular season with 35 receptions for 564 yards and three touchdowns, helping the team finish 13-4 before losing to the eventual Super Bowl champion Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

The Ravens released Beckham Jr on Thursday.

Despite the retirement rumors and the Daily Mail reports that Beckham Jr. wants to get his “last NFL contract” after speaking with an anonymous source.

The report highlights that Beckham is seeking a long-term deal, but teams are wary of his injury history and age.

Even though teams believe he can still play, it is much easier to find a younger option that will cost less.

“Odell will sign with someone in the next few days. Though he would like to get a multi-year deal, some teams are apprehensive because he is very injury-prone and he might have to consider a two-year deal instead,” per the DailyMail report.

“Odell wants a huge contract that has tons of money behind it and years attached to it because this is his last chance to get a good contract and also likely his last contract in the NFL.”

“But NFL teams know that while Odell is still a great player, they could get someone younger and cheaper.”

It also stated where Beckham would like to land if he had the choice.

“He wants to join Kansas City, but taking the best contract with the most money is Odell’s current thought process,” per the Daily Mail.

“Everyone wants to win, but money wins overall.”

“Odell is going to have to dig in his heels a little longer than he originally expected as his ego outweighs the demand for his services.”

Beckham has caught 566 passes for 7,932 yards and 59 touchdowns in 110 NFL appearances, earning over $98million in his career.

Off the field, the star has been spotted with Kim several times, and reports indicated the two have quietly dated since September 2023.

The couple were seen together attending Vanity Fair’s Oscars party on Sunday night.
