While her career is going from strength to strength, Josie Gibson is on the hunt for romance after spotting Alison Hammond looking loved-up with new man David Putman.
After experiencing her fair share of heartache, Josie Gibson is ready for love again as things heat up between Alison Hammond and her new beau David Putman.
The This Morning presenter, 49, has recently showed off her happy relationship on social media after falling head over heels for the 6ft10 Russian masseur, 26. And while their age difference has left some of her pals fearing she may face heartbreak again, her co-star Josie was given new hope for romance.
One source claimed that the single mother “desperately” wants to settle down while chatting to OK! Magazine: “Josie desperately wants to find love too, it’s all she’s ever wanted. She’s got her dream job on This Morning but her real hope is to settle down.”
Much like Alison’s closest friends, despite their age-gap concerns, Josie is rooting for the new couple. “She’s so happy for Alison and is hoping that this guy is the right one. Seeing Alison happy does make Josie want the same for herself.”

Another insider added that Alison has made her pal Josie all too aware of what she’s missing out on: “Josie would love to double date with Alison and have them both find their happily ever after. They’ve both had such similar experiences so she’s hoping that this is it for Alison and hopefully it will be for her too.”
Josie first shot to fame on Big Brother in 2010, but throughout her years in the spotlight, her love life has been known to be nothing short of eventful, with a string of ill-fated relationships, much like Alison. Following her victory in the reality series, she went on to date her BB housemate John James Parton for less than a year.

She then moved on with a property developer named Terry, with whom she shares a son, Reggie James, born in 2018. Sadly, despite knowing one another for several years prior, the pair parted ways five months after the birth.
Speaking to New! Magazine, Josie then revealed the sad details of their separation, claiming Terry had kicked her out of their home on New Year’s Eve after a heated argument. This forced her and baby Reggie to turn to a hostel for shelter.
“He’s got OCD and just after Christmas, he went mad about too many of my shoes being in the hallway”, she’d remembered. “So I kicked off and said, ‘Well, we’ll go then!’ And he went, ‘Alright’, and bagged up our stuff. So Reggie and me headed to a hotel.”
More recently, Josie ignited romance rumours along with Stephen Mulhern when the pair were caught holding hands at the BBC Studios. But after days of speculation, and a comment from Stephen’s close pal Kerry Katona, Josie cleared up all doubt, insisting: “We are really good friends, I really adore him, but there’s no romance in the air. But he’s so nice.”
