The upcoming Iron Man and Battlefield games could be looking at some good news as the Motive studio and EAs developments teams work together to finish the projects.
It has been a big year for gamers, as plenty of announcements, cancellations, and other news have been made, but news regarding the upcoming Iron Man game and Battlefield has many gamers wondering whether or not EA is on the right tracks with its IPs.

According to a recent report, Motive’s, who were in charge of development for the Mass Effect 2 remake and the upcoming Iron Man title, have now merged with the wider Battlefield development team thanks to a decision from EA, but according to Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb, one of these projects may be in trouble.
Iron Man and Battlefield Could Be the Next Set of Games We See From EA, According to a Recent Rumor
EA will be merging Motive with its large development team that is working on Battlefield.
At the moment, there is a lot of confusion regarding EA’s many projects and which games are being focused on. Recently, there has been a rumour that the Mass Effect 2 remake was cancelled to free up the teams at Motive so that they could focus on the upcoming Iron Man and Battlefield games.
Now, thanks to a statement from EA, we know that these rumours regarding the cancellation of the Mass Effect 2 remake aren’t factual, as they have released a statement to IGN explaining that “We don’t normally comment on rumors but there is no validity to this story.” which puts some hope back in the gaming community.
For those looking forward to the Mass Effect 2 remake, this is rather good news, but for those who are afraid that this project could slow down the production of Battlefield and Iron Man, do not worry, as these projects already have a wide-spread team working on them, and with this recent merger, it will be an even bigger team that will likely improve the projects.

EA Could Be In Trouble if Iron Man and Battlefield Don’t Live up to the Expectations of the Community
According to EA, the Mass Effect 2 remake cancellation rumors aren’t accurate.
One of the biggest challenges when it comes to game development is deciding what projects to keep alive and which projects get the axe. This is something that the gaming community is always worried about, as gamers are constantly worried that their favourite IPs could be cancelled if a company doesn’t feel the IP will succeed.
At the moment, EA has a lot of confidence in all of its projects that it is currently working on, but if these projects don’t live up to the expectations that the gaming community has for them, then these projects could eventually lead to future projects being cancelled.
Since the teams at Motive and EA’s larger team working on Battlefield have now been joined together, there is a lot of faith from the gaming community that both the upcoming Iron Man game and the Battlefield game will have a lot of attention put towards them from the development team, and this merger will ultimately be a good thing.
