One Iconic Avenger Is Not In Deadpool & Wolverine!

Well, it’s not like Deadpool & Wolverine is an Avengers fest where every character alive makes a return but… people still hold onto their hopes. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have been an iconic duo on and off-screen and the world cannot wait for their bromance.

With a kickass trailer that showcased multiple X-Men and mutant characters, a rumor began spreading that two Avengers may appear in the film. With Deadpool and Wolverine jumping through a portal in the trailer, it is possible that Doctor Strange (or Wong) might appear in the film. Alongside the sorcerer, however, there was another theory that Bruce Banner aka The Hulk was going to be a part of the film. Well, an industry insider (known as @MyTimeToShineH) simply refused the possibility with his message on X (formerly Twitter).

Well, that was pretty short. On the other hand, people talked about how awesome it could have been if The Hulk had been a part of this film. Potentially fighting against Wolverine and Deadpool, the fight would have indeed looked cool.

With the Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starter film on the verge of release, director Shawn Levy revealed in an interview with The Associated Press that he made the movie for fun and not for connecting the dots in the MCU.

Well, the world is certainly ready for Wolverine and Deadpool to wreak havoc in the MCU. With the upcoming film on the horizon, Deadpool & Wolverine is slated for a release date of 26 July 2024 in theaters across the U.S.
