He shared that shortly after completing drama school, he had a meeting with the studio. Majors confirmed if he was at the right place and waited for a while after being told, “They’re just busy.” However, after not getting an answer for a while, he decided to leave.

“I grew up in a very particular way and I don’t want to waste nobody’s time. So I got in there and they’re just busy. And I was like, “I’m supposed to be here, right?” It got long and I went, ‘I’m just going to go. It’s cool. I’ll just go.’”

Why Jonathan Majors Was Fired From the MCU?

Known for his role in Marvel Studios’ Loki series, Majors faced repercussions following a legal ordeal. Allegations regarding a domestic dispute involving Majors and his ex-partner, Grace Jabbari, led to misdemeanor charges of assault and harassment.

Despite maintaining innocence, Majors was ultimately found guilty in December 2023. Following the verdict, Marvel Studios opted to part ways with Majors, who portrayed Kang the Conqueror in the MCU. Earlier this month, a New York judge delivered Majors’ sentence, mandating his participation in a one-year “in-person batterers” intervention program.

Additionally, the judge imposed an order of protection preventing contact with Jabbari and restricted Majors from obtaining a firearm. Violating the terms of his sentence could result in up to 364 days of incarceration, and up to six months if he fails to complete the intervention program.
