Speaking with cinema.com, the actor said that he spent six months taking martial arts, weight training, and an intensive gymnastics program.

“I wasn’t able to eat that much for a long time. But for someone like me who wasn’t exactly a fitness freak, it was a chance of a lifetime to work with top trainers in different disciplines to get in great shape. I’m going to try to stay buff as long as I can, but it takes a lot of discipline and staying away from your favorite junk food!”

Maguire’s dedication played a huge role in the success of the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy. The massive popularity of the Raimi trilogy boosted public interest in superhero stories. At the Monster-Mania Con held at Cherry Hill, New Jersey, on March 8-10, 2024, Raimi, while answering a fan’s query about the fourth film, shared a positive update that there are chances of the film happening.
