Take That singer Gary Barlow got a new tattoo dedicated to his children. He already has one in tribute to his wife Dawn Andrews

Take That star Gary Barlow recently got a new tattoo on his arm dedicated to his children.

The 53-year-old – who kicked off the This Life tour with his bandmates over the weekend – and former Take That dancer Dawn Andrews tied the knot in 2000. Together they share Daniel, 23, Emily, 21, Daisy, 14, and Poppy, who was tragically delivered stillborn in 2012.

As a tribute to his children, he tattooed their four initials, D, E, D and P, on the inside of his right arm in subtle black ink. Fans were quick to notice the new tattoo in a post shared on Gary’s Instagram page before the highly-anticipated This Life tour kicked off in Sheffield.

One fan page re-posted the picture and wrote: “Ooh do we see a new tattoo also Gary?” Another user quickly pointed out: “Looks like his children’s initials.” It’s not the only tattoo Gary has as he tattooed the letter D on his right wrist in 2018 as a little tribute to his gorgeous wife Dawn for their 24th anniversary. He also has a flower tattoo on the inside of his left arm.

After a successful first night on tour, fans rushed to Gary’s Instagram to praise the show. One user said: “Blown away just from a live stream. Can’t wait to see it in real life!!!!” while another commented: “Just come out of Sheffield Arena, it was amazing !!!! Loved every minute of it … We are now sat in the queue of traffic outside the arena.”

“Cracking show lad. Audience loved every minute,” one fan raved while another added: “Absolutely Amazing!! Loved it!! Can’t wait to see it again tomorrow night.” Take That currently consists of Mark Owen, Gary and Howard Donald. Earlier this month, the group appeared on Saturday Night Takeaway to perform on stage.

Fans were delighted when Mark debuted another new look on Ant and Dec’s show. The last time he was seen performing on TV, Mark had a moustache and long hair as he promoted his solo album, dividing fans. But they were pleased to see that his ‘baby-faced look’ was back as some claimed that he had transported them back to the band’s 90s heyday.

His clean-shaven appearance and new haircut did not go unnoticed, as fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their delight at his return to a previous look. One user said: “Memories Mark is taking me back to the 90s all over with his curtains, oh my gosh stunner love you Mark.”
