Greg Gutfeld’s fans have been wondering where he’s disappeared to.

According to the Gateway Pundit, the scathing pundit has been absent from his normal position on the afternoon talk show “The Five” and his late-night hosting responsibilities on “Gutfeld!” for about three weeks.

The fans received their response on Tuesday.

Dana Perino, co-host of “The Five,” stated, “A lot of you are going to be really surprised by this.”

“As you may have noticed, our friend Greg Gutfeld has been absent for a few weeks, and there’s a good reason for that.”

Then, with characteristic Gutfeld style, Perino read a statement from Gutfeld announcing the birth of his infant daughter, Mira.

“My wife, Elana, and I are extremely happy to announce the birth of a baby girl,” Perino wrote.

Mira has a genuine set of lungs and is in good health. She has my rock-hard abs and Elana’s gorgeous eyes. We are working diligently to educate her three languages and to put her through demanding exercise regimens. She has previously inquired as to whether Jesse wears a toupee because she is so perceptive. I informed her that he undoubtedly dons a wig.

He ended by mentioning Gus, his French bulldog.

We appreciate our privacy, as you can see, and we appreciate all of the well wishes. I must now go prevent Gus from kissing her face.

Gutfeld commented on social networking platform X following the reveal on “The Five” and the congrats from his colleagues.

He wrote, “[S]ee, that’s how you keep a secret.”

“[T]hanks for the kind remarks! I’ll see you in a few!

According to a January 2005 New York Times article, Gutfeld, 60, has been wed to his 42-year-old wife, Elena Moussa, since 2004.

Gutfeld has kept his personal life somewhat private, despite the fact that few Americans are more outspoken about their political views than he is. He has made witty, intelligent, and scathing conservative criticism his personal brand.

The public was therefore taken aback by the news of his new baby, and admirers who had noticed his absence expressed their gratitude in spades.

Gutfeld has had a great year, solidifying his ratings position in the late-night field, and the news of the young addition to his life is finishing it off.

In September, he hosted a visit from then-candidate Donald Trump, which was Gutfeld’s biggest episode since the show’s debut in 2021 and may have contributed to the outcome of the November election.
