Meghan and Harry could share ‘more bombshells’, expert claims (Image: GETTY)

There are fears Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could expose more “royal bombshells”, a royal expert has suggested.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has suggested that with their multi-million-pound contract with Netflix potentially coming to an end next year, more bombshells could be on the way as they bring the pair “megabucks” – like they have done previously.

Meghan and Harry signed with a five-year contract with Netflix shortly after stepping down as senior working royals in 2020.

Speaking to the Mirror, Mr Fitzwilliams said: “Yet since their $100 million contract with Netflix began, they have done hardly anything for it. It runs out next year and Netflix are no longer producing the series of The Crown, as they previously were. They might therefore have less interest in the Sussexes.

“If they lost this contract, with Archewell, their business and charitable foundation, having so few donors, they might well be in financial trouble.

“Since their exposés of royal life has made megabucks, but little else has made money, the Royal Family better hope that this unpredictable and ruthlessly ambitious couple stays with Netflix.”

Mr Fitzwilliams also discussed what is in the pipeline for the couple, as already confirmed by deals or social media posts.

He added: “They are working on new programmes for Netflix and Meghan has launched her lifestyle blog, American Riviera Orchard.

“They have lost Spotify, rather curiously Lemonada Media, which Meghan has joined, reportedly intends to place her podcasts on ice until next year. Nothing has come of rumours about Meghan and any political ambitions she might have.”

The couple now, since stepping down as working royals, reside in California with their children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, who will celebrate her third birthday next week.

The couple moved to the US with their son shortly after stepping down, before welcoming their daughter the following year.
