Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown has caused a stir on social media following some curious activity.

Following rumors of locker room discord and talk of the player wanting out of Philly, Brown reiterated his desire to remain with the 2022 NFC Champions. However, there is now belief that he wants to be traded to the New England Patriots as he has made his Twitter/X photo one of Tom Brady in a Pats uniform.

Brown has done something similar to all of his social media profiles.

The star wideout has also followed current Patriots players Jacoby Brissett and KJ Osborn on Instagram.

Adding to the speculation, New England general manager Elliott Wolfe recently revealed the team is engaged in trade discourse to sign wide receivers.

AJ Brown Has Responded To The Speculation

AJ Brown has responded to the speculation his social media changes prompted on Thursday, taking to X to explain that he was simply showing some respect to his favorite player after watching ‘The Dynasty’.

TB12 is my favorite player ever,” he wrote. “I watch the dynasty and it brought back some memories from my childhood. Go look up what he did in 2015 when he was doubted/ disrespected.

Yeah I see the disrespect. Motivated … yes. That’s it. I Did not think changing my pfp to the greatest qb ever would cause controversy.

The Eagles just tied DeVonta Smith to a three-year deal and hope to have him continue his partnership with Brown for the foreseeable future.

That Brown made said changes to his profiles can’t be ignored in today’s era. But Eagles fans will hope they can take him at his word.
