The duo took to the ice for one of their last ever performances together during Sunday (March 9) night’s Dancing on Ice final, skating a stunning routine to the Lighthouse Family on
During the show, the Olympic gold medallists shared an emotional message with their followers about their upcoming tour.
They wrote: “We’re rink side on @dancingonice enjoying the final as we type this but who’s watching the show and who’s coming to our Last Dance tour? We’re really looking forward to skating together for one final time.”
The comments section was filled with messages from fans expressing their excitement over the tour, but others couldn’t help but tear up.

“Can’t wait to see you one last time,” wrote one viewer as a second penned: “That final dance gave me goosebumps.”
A third added: “Can’t wait to see you on the 13th of April, we are rinkside row 1. My inspirations, heroes, everything I’ve looked up too, if you see my sobbing in the front. No you didn’t!,” accompanied by a crying emoji.
Another shared: “We cant wait to come & see your show. I got turned away from the final 5 years ago at the last minute, so finally a dream to see you in April.”
Before their performance, Chris admitted to feeling emotional as he spoke to presenters Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern.
The 66-year-old said: “We are skating our last performance tonight live on Dancing on Ice. So, it is very emotional for us. It has been a fantastic ride, we have been here 17 series or something like that, over 80 performances but, the last one tonight.”

Torvill and Dean have been a core part of Dancing on Ice since it first hit screens in 2006. It aired until 2014 before taking a four-year hiatus, with the skating duo returning as judges when the show was revived in 2019.
During Sunday night’s live final, Coronation Street star Sam Aston went up against former footballer Anton Ferdinand and Springwatch star Michaela Strachan, with all three hoping to become this year’s champions.
After Anton received the fewest votes, Sam and Michaela were then left to perform routines inspired by Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean’s famous Bolero in a bid to be crowned the winner.
Following the two performances, it was announced that Sam and his partner Molly Lanaghan had won Dancing on Ice.
