Dak Prescott has been in an interesting spot with the Dallas Cowboys since signing his 4-year $160 million contract with them in 2021.

Dak has been in many trade rumors recently as Dallas could be seeing a rebuild in 2025 if they are not successful in the playoffs this upcoming. According to ESPN, Prescott could count just over $40 million against the cap if he is not signed to an extension or traded before the 2025 season.

The best situation for Dallas would be to trade the 2023 MVP finalist, and a good return could net them a fair bit of compensation. This trade proposal could see Prescott join a stacked AFC QB roster for the 2024 season.

The tweet from JPAFootball (via Mitchell Renz) has Prescott heading over to Vegas, with the Cowboys receiving QB Aiden O’Connell, three 2024 draft picks (1st, 2nd, and 4th) two 2025 draft picks (1st and 3rd), and a 2026 2nd round pick.

The Raiders tried Jimmy Garoppolo at the QB position last season for six games, however, it did not go as planned. Even with subpar QB play, Davante Adams was still able to hit 1,000 yards in 2023 with Aiden O’Connell throwing him the ball for the majority of the season.

Prescott threw for over 4,500 yards, 36 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions last season with CeeDee Lamb as his number-one pass catcher. Having a more experienced receiver who has caught passes from one of the game’s best in Aaron Rodgers is sure to improve Prescott’s stats.
