Charles Barkley has admitted to hating a certain sports analyst to the point where he wants to regain some weight just so he could hate him some more.

The former NBA star joined the ‘Dan Patrick Show’ this week to talk about the NBA All-Star Weekend and other league affairs when he took aim at Skip Bayless. It’s hardly a secret that Charles and Skip are not fond of each other, but Barkley really, really hates the guy.

“Let me tell you how stupid some of these guys are on television,” he said as he expressed frustration over the debate-style sports coverage Skip and Stephen A. Smith made popular during their time together on ‘First Take’.

“You know how much I hate Skip Bayless. I hate him with every fiber. Sometimes he makes me want to gain weight back so I can hate him with even more weight.”

Barkley was especially unhappy with Skip’s criticism of Bill Belichick.

“People send me these hot takes and I love going hard at people. Because to sit there and say, ‘Bill only won championships because of Tom Brady,’ that’s stupid and asinine,” Barkley said about Bayless.

“Andy Reid’s a great person, he’s a great coach. But how many championships has he won without Patrick Mahomes? So stop trying to hate on Bill Belichick.

“Dude went to nine Super Bowls. There’s nobody who went to nine Super Bowls who’s overrated.”
It’s a good thing those two men might never get to sit at the same desk; someone’s getting charged with something if that ever happens.
