Brittany Mahomes took all the major headlines this week from her husband.

The mom, former soccer player, and wife of Patrick Mahomes was announced as a 2024 Rookie for the magazine’s 60th-anniversary issue. Mahomes is no stranger to the spotlight and the scrutiny that comes with it.

She addressed that with a fiery message on her Instagram Story.

“I’m here to tell you people will dislike you, people will love you,” she said in a message on her Instagram story. “Don’t let any of that define you. Keep shining and being you.”

Per MJ Day, SI Swim’s editor-in-chief, Brittany was selected because she’s the “epitome of a modern-day powerhouse.” Day adds in a statement: “Brittany’s journey has surpassed all expectations, inspiring others with her tenacity and unyielding determination.”

The spread isn’t officially out, but fans can expect to see the mom of two modeling a collection of fiery swimsuits that left very little to the imagination. A teaser video from the photoshoot showed the entrepreneur modeling several swimsuits in Chiefs’ red on the beach in Belize.

Brittany’s SI Swimsuit debut comes as she prepares to cheer on her husband and the Chiefs at Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where they will face the San Francisco 49ers.

It’s unclear whether she will sit with her family or with Taylor Swift.
