Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has found a new team following his stint with the Baltimore Ravens in 2023.

The veteran wideout is reportedly signing a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, Beckham’s new deal is worth up to $8.25 million. Rapoport adds that the player got better offers from other teams but preferred the fit in Miami.

“The #Dolphins are expected to sign #Ravens free agent WR Odell Beckham Jr, sources tell me and @TomPelissero, a new home for the speedster. As Miami’s offense just gets faster,” the NFL insider reported on Friday morning.

“For the #Dolphins and WR Odell Beckham Jr, it’s a 1-year deal worth up to $8.25M, sources say. He took less than was offered elsewhere, but wanted the fit.”

The 31-year-old is joining Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in one of the most formidable receiver rooms in the NFL.

Could Odell Beckham Jr. Could Be The Missing Piece?

Odell Beckham Jr. played 14 games for the Ravens last season, making 35 catches off 64 targets for 565 yards and three touchdowns. The team made it as far as the AFC Championship game after tallying the best record in the league.

However, they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs, who went on to beat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl.

The Dolphins were also beaten by the Chiefs, going out in the first round of the playoffs in one of the coldest games in NFL history.

Adding Beckham gives them another premier offensive weapon and another viable target for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
