The Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans have pulled off a trade that does not involve a single player as of right now.

The Vikings are moving up in the draft as they are set to get a first-round pick in 2023, 23rd overall, and the 232nd overall pick from the Texans for a second-round pick this year, 42nd overall, 188th overall and a second-round pick in 2025.

The Vikings will now have the Nos. 11 and 23 overall picks in the first round come April 25.

The Texans will now pick at 42, 59, and 86 inside the top 100, with an extra second-round pick in the 2025 draft.

The Vikings lost Kirk Cousins to the Atlanta Falcons this offseason and are in desperate need of a quarterback, so this move may be the catalyst to make it happen.

The team might be putting together a package to move up even further in the draft in hopes of having a young stud in place that will make Justin Jefferson happy about possibly signing a huge deal with them.
