Rashee Rice is finally doing what he should’ve done days ago.

The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver took to social media on Wednesday and released a statement. Rice said in the statement that he finally met with the Dallas police department investigators regarding the car accident on Saturday.

Rashee Rice further added that he was taking full responsibility for his part in the situation and maintained that he would cooperate with the authorities.

He also apologized to the victims of the accident.

Four people were left with minor injuries in a multi-vehicle incident on Saturday, and the Dallas police are still looking into it. Star Kansas City Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice was involved in one of the two cars that appeared to start the crash that was caught on camera.


Witnesses and camera evidence show that after other automobiles skidded over the road, hit four other cars, and stopped, passengers got out of the two cars and fled the area. According to police, nobody who fled the scene even bothered to check on the people they had just wrecked.

TMZ reports that Rice owned the Corvette involved in the crash and had leased the Lamborghini that were both racing when the accident happened on a Dallas expressway. Classic Lifestyle attorney Kyle Coker told TMZ that Rashee Rice was in the Lambo when the crash happened and was the only person allowed to drive the car per the leasing agreement. The Corvette that Rice owns suffered major damage to the front end.
