Former superstar wide receiver Chad Ochocinco is back in the NFL, according to the very man himself.

On social media, the former Cincinnati Bengals star posted a photo of himself with Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce and announced that he is “officially” part of the team’s coaching staff.

On Tuesday night, Ochocinco posted on X/Twitter that he had dinner with Pierce and sought a job with the organization “in some capacity.” Ochocinco noted that it would have been his 39th job if he got hired:

The 46-year-old Ochocinco played for the Bengals from 2001 to 2010, and for the New England Patriots in 2011. The six-time Pro Bowler and three-time First-team All-Pro helped the Bengals to two division crowns (2005 and 2009), and reached a Super Bowl with the Patriots.

Ochocinco joins a Raiders coaching staff that also just hired former Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy as its OC. Pierce himself was retained as the head coach after finishing the 2023 season as the interim HC, leading the team to a 5-4 finish after replacing Josh McDaniels.
