The Kansas City Chiefs are making some late roster moves ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl 58 and have received a boost in such regard.

According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, veteran running back Jerick McKinnon has been activated off the Injured Reserve list and may be able to play against the San Francisco 49ers in the big game.

McKinnon is still a game-time decision, however, with his status still up in the air.

The team opened a practice window for the player on February 3 after he underwent surgery a month prior. While he is coming off just a week of practice ahead of the game, he will hope to feature against his former team this Sunday.
