Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs is on the move.

On Tuesday, it was reported that the Buffalo Bills were trading Diggs to the Houston Texans.

The full trade details have the Bills receiving a 2025 second-round pick via Minnesota, while the Texans are getting Diggs, a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick.

Unlike the previous offseason, there wasn’t much controversy surrounding Stefon Diggs and reports on how he possibly wanted out of Buffalo, but we all know that things can move quickly behind the scenes in the National Football League.

Now, Stefon Diggs moves from having Josh Allen as his quarterback to having CJ Stroud as his QB.

The Bills have been among the NFL’s best teams over the past four years and that is with the help of Diggs. Last season, Diggs’ team-leading 1,183 yards as a receiver came on 107 receptions (out of 160 targets) with eight touchdowns, via ESPN.com.

Stefon Diggs Has a Chance To Change the Narrative Around Him

Now that Diggs is headed to the Houston Texans and will catch passes from CJ Stroud, he has a chance to change the narrative about him that he can only deliver in the regular season.

Diggs failed to deliver when it counted against the Chiefs in the Divisional round. He had just three receptions on eight targets for a measly 21 yards, as the Bills once again fell short of their super bowl aspirations.

In fact, the 30-year-old didn’t have a single 100 yard performance following the Bills’ week 6 contest against the New York Giants.
