PATRICK Mahomes and Travis Kelce are opening a restaurant in Kansas City together.

As the restaurant goes under development, the two NFL superstars are making sure the menu is heavily inspired by their Chiefs team.

Earlier in the month, Mahomes and Kelce announced the launch of their restaurant, 1587 Prime.

“Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,” Mahomes said in a statement.

Noble 33 operates multiple fine dining establishments across the world in major cities like Las Vegas, West Hollywood, Toronto, London, and New York City.

“Noble 33 is leading the development of the design, experience, menu, and operation, but conceptually, Patrick & Travis’ involvement and input has been instrumental,” Noble 33 leader Tosh Berman said.

“Both of them are longtime regulars of our other restaurants, so a great starting point was bringing elements they loved from those experiences and abstracting them in an original way for 1587 Prime.”

The name of the restaurant comes from the combination of their jersey numbers, 15 and 87, and will occupy a two-story, 10,000 square feet space inside the Loews Hotel in downtown Kansas City.

The restaurant is expected to open in 2025.

He also revealed a special menu item dedicated to head coach Andy Reid.

“We’ll definitely have the Andy Reid cheeseburger on there. That’ll for sure be on there.” Mahomes said.

Reid is known for winning three Super Bowls with Mahomes, but also for his love of cheeseburgers.

After capturing his first Super Bowl win in 2019, while still on the field Reid told NFL Network he was going to celebrate the win with a cheeseburger.

“I’m gonna go get the biggest cheeseburger you’ve ever seen,” he said.

“The biggest one, might be a double.”

He won’t have to go far to get one now, with a cheeseburger named after him being just down the street at 1587 Prime.
