Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown is no stranger to making baseless claims on social media, but Friday’s unnecessary attack on J.J. Watt takes the cake as one of the most ridiculous in recent memory.

Dov Kleiman posted a fun fact noting that both Brown and Watt played offense on Central Michigan back in 2008. Brown responded by accusing Watt of going “steroid crazy”, with the #CTESPN hashtag:

 

To be clear, there is no evidence linking Watt to steroid usage during his playing career. He never once tested positive for steroids/PEDs of any sort during his NFL career.

Brown, on the other hand, saw a potential Hall of Fame career go down the drain due to a plethora of legal issues as well as his inability to avoid destructive habits as a teammate. There’s a reason nobody signed Brown again after he quit on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during that infamous 2021 game against the New York Jets.

Watt retired from football after the 2022 season, finishing with 114.5 career sacks, 27 forced fumbles and 70 pass defenses. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year will most certainly land in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.
