One question on The Chase left Jenny Ryan, also known as The Vixen, completely stumped on this evening’s brand new episode. The Bolton-born quizzer took on a team of four new players, as they all put their wits to the test with her aim being to catch them before they bagged a cash prize.
Host Bradley Walsh welcomed Susan from Stoke-on-Trent, Jamahl from Birmingham, Ali from Corwen and Spencer from Kent to take on The Chaser as they tried to win thousands of pounds. In the very first head-to-head, the player seemed to have it easy as Jenny messed one question in particular up.

Brad delivered the question as he asked: “As of 2023, what was the fee for having a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?” The possible answers were $750, $7,500 or $75,000. The player locked in her answer pretty quickly, but Jenny seemed to take a moment to contemplate.
It was revealed that Susan chose the higher cash amount as her answer, as she explained: “I’m going high. I think those people can afford it.” Bradley shot her down as he said: “I don’t think it’s that. I think it’s B [$7,500].”
He then unveiled that the player was actually correct with her answer of $75,000. He applauded the player saying: “Well played, one step closer from home,” before showing that the Chaser had thought the same as him – getting the answer wrong. However, she did not explain the reasoning to her thinking.

Another added: “Well I never knew you paid for a Hollywood walk of fame star!! You learn something new everyday! #TheChase,” to which one more replied: “It’s the equivalent of the blue tick on Twitter. Fame is a tradeable commodity now #TheChase.”
A fourth shared: “Ridiculous answer. #thechase.” Someone else hit out at Brad, as they fumed: “Shut the f*** up Brad, you know f*** all. #TheChase”
The Chase airs on ITV and ITVX from 5pm each weekday
