Wynne Evans has been tipped to return to the small screen despite his fallout from Strictly Come Dancing. The Welsh opera singer, 53, is currently embroiled in two scandals and has also reportedly been axed by insurance company GoCompare, for whom he’s long been the face of.
However, it’s now claimed he could soon be back on the screens according to bookmakers. Wynne is being heavily tipped for a stint in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here jungle when the popular ITV reality series returns in November. It would see Wynne switch from BBC reality series to the long-running ITV show.
He has been placed as 5/1 to appear Down Under, while he is 7/1 odds to step foot in the Celebrity Big Brother house next month.

Lee Astley, spokesperson for Card Player, said: “Wynne Evans will be considering his options after reportedly being axed from the GoCompare adverts and we reckon there’s a firm chance the opera singer is being lined up for a stint in the I’m A Celebrity jungle this year.
“We go 5/1 that Evans will appear down under on the ITV show, while he is 7/1 to feature in the Celebrity Big Brother house next month.”
Wynne’s lucrative GoCompare advert deal is said to have been cut after the star was caught making a vile sexual remark on the Strictly Come Dancing tour.
It came after he was dropped from the Strictly Live tour at the start of the year because of the incident. He has been with the insurance company since 2009.
The singer was filmed making an inappropriate sexual comment while at the press call for the then upcoming UK tour in Birmingham. Shortly after, he revealed he was “taking some time out” from his BBC radio show and the tour “to prioritise my wellbeing”.
Sources close to the star have now claimed Wynne fears he has been “wronged” and that the comments have been taken out of context.
They added that his legal team have complied a document of 30 pages which they hope will clear his name of any wrongdoing. Speaking to The Sun recently, a source claimed: “Wynne has got a legal team in his corner and he has a 30-odd page dossier which he thinks will help his case.
“He absolutely loves his job on BBC Radio Wales and having to step back from it in the wake of his [Strictly] dismissal was heartbreaking.”
Reports suggested that discussions regarding his radio gig were supposed to happen last month but he had made the decision to reschedule them due to his mental health.
