The popular ITV show -Deal Or No Deal – made its return this afternoon for a new series
Deal or No Deal burst back onto screens this afternoon with Stephen Mulhern taking the reins once again.
In its triumphant return, Myles took centre stage but hit a rough patch in the opening round. Yet, there was a silver lining as he spilled some personal joy – he tied the knot during the downtime from filming.
The group all returned, each bringing their own updates. As he opened the show, Stephen said: “We’re back! But unfortunately the banker is back too! Which can only mean one thing – we are back for a new series!
“Can you believe it? It’s a dream! Welcome to our brand new series of Deal or No Deal. It feels so good to be back, doesn’t it? We’ve got the boxes out of storage so everyone can play the game that’s all about holding your nerve and braving the banker. And even better than that, the players are back too everybody! It’s so good to see you all!”

Stephen, eager to catch up with the contestants, shared that Orla had some big news. He told the viewers: “Orla used to be the last one in the bar at the hotel – but I hear that’s all got to change! Orla do you want to tell everyone the good news?”
Orla then joyfully announced her pregnancy to the audience: “So the good news is I’ve brought someone new with me but you can’t see them! ” to which she received an outpouring of applause and excitement from those present.”
Orla admitted that while she didn’t have any particular cravings, she would have loved a glass of wine, whilst host Stephen joked that the day would indeed arrive when she could enjoy a tipple once more.

She also shared that they decided not to find out the sex of the upcoming baby. Orla said they wanted to hold on to the element of surprise. To this, the host playfully suggested: “If it’s a boy, you’re more than welcome to call it Stephen!”
Stephen admitted earlier this year that this job was one of the “hardest” he’s done.
“It’s the hardest job but the most rewarding. It is the biggest shock to my career because I knew the show was big, when Noel Edmonds used to do it. Catchphrase I’ve been doing for 10 series, I used to watch it when I was growing up, it’s been a dream. Saturday Night Takeaway is an amazing show because I’m with two friends I absolutely love working with,” he said.
“But Deal or No Deal…because it’s 22 members of the public and I love working with the public anyway, but you hear everything as a presenter. It’s possibly the hardest job but the most rewarding job because you’ve got highs, you’ve got lows, you’ve got people that are there to win money, but over that hour you learn a lot about that one person.”
