She said: ‘He is the calmest baby known to man. He barely cries, he sleeps through the night and he is the exact opposite of his much beloved sister Blake.

‘She is a little firecracker and hasn’t stopped talking – apparently that’s what I was like when I was young!’

Kayleigh announced her return to the channel by posting on Instagram to her 2.1 million followers: ‘I’m so excited to return to @outnumberedfnc @foxnews tomorrow at 12pm ET w/ @harrisfaulkner & @realemilycompagno!

‘Blake & Nash are ready to watch their mommy!’

Viewers rushed to social media to praise the host’s return and to express messages of congratulations.

One Twitter user responded: ‘Yay! You were missed girl! Happy you’re back, and welcome to lil Nash.’

Another commented: ‘He is absolutely precious!! Congratulations!!!’

A third said: ‘Welcome back!!! While we certainly missed you on the couch at noon, we are glad it was because of this beautiful baby boy… Nash, thanks for sharing mummy with us at noon!’

In her segment, McEnany added that baby Nash is the ‘spitting image’ of her husband Sean and gave advice to other young moms: ‘Take a beat, take a moment to take in it. I did this so much better with my second child than with my first.

‘Just enjoy the moment. You don’t need to stress.’

She went on to say that Blake, although more spirited than her younger brother, is ‘so loving’ towards him as a ‘beautiful older sister’ and will often give him kisses on the forehead.

She ended her return by saying ‘I missed all of you – I love you guys so much.’

Sean Gilmartin, a major league pitcher Gilmartin and McEnany tied the knot in November 2017, while she was working as the national spokesperson for the Republican National Committee.

Kayleigh said that Nash is the ‘calmest baby known to man’ and ‘never cries’

She was walking with a friend as she spoke to the camera: ‘Hey everyone! Nash just had his first flight. Flight number one he was so good. He didn’t cry, he was calm, he was peaceful, he slept most of the time.

‘But my daughter Blake… well it was a little bit of a different story! Here’s what she chose to do on the plane – she put marker all over her face. She’s a little artist.

‘Travelling with two children. This was something.’

In December McEnany announced the birth of her second child on Twitter.

In a tweet, the new mother-of-two wrote: ‘@GilmartinSean & I are thrilled to announce the birth of our son, Nash! What a truly joyful time. God has blessed us immensely.’

She then shared a picture of Nash snuggled up on a blue blanket, as well as an image of her Sean snuggling their newborn, and finally a snap of daughter Blake, three, alongside her brother.

Her co-stars also announced the happy new live on air on Fox News’s Outnumbered, adding that her son was born on Tuesday without incident.

Her co-stars added they were ‘sending all of our love and well wishes and prayers and support to the now-family of four.’

McEnany shared the happy news that the couple was expecting their second child in a live Fox News broadcast on June 16.

The 34-year-old opened up about her expanding family during Outnumbered – which she co-hosts – telling her fellow on-air correspondents that she couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome a new addition to her brood.

‘So my husband Sean Gilmartin and I are about four-months pregnant,’ McEnany shared, adding: ‘What a blessing, we’ve prayed a lot about this, and God just blessed us with a child, a second child to join baby Blake, my daughter.’
